Cardio Fat Loss

Doing cardio early in the morning gives you much better results. You should do cardio before you take your breakfast. But this tip is very controversial. The academic types don't believe this. Academic types will disagree with me on this tip. At the same time professional bodybuilders are using this tip for years. This is one of the main reasons why some professionals can achieve a body fat percentage under 5 and even four percent.

Not only will you be performing a cardio and strength workout at the same time, you'll be releasing large amounts of growth hormone and boosting your metabolic rate. When you train a large amount of muscle mass at once, you release human growthhormone and testosterone.

Now it is time for the intervals. You are going to do one minute (or 30 seconds or 90 seconds, what ever you chose based on your fitness level) of hard interval followed by another minute of easy rest. So if you have been warming up at a level 5 on the bike, jump up to a level 10 for one minute of hard riding. After the minute is up, jump back down to at least 5 if not 3 or 4. You want the rest interval to be EASY and a recovery period.

Next, determine how quickly you want to lose this 1 lb of fat. Let's say your goal is to lose 1 lb of fat per week. This means that over one week you will need to both reduce your caloric intake and increase your caloric expenditure (do cardio) to equal 3,500 calories over the week. After calculating the nutritional component, let's say that you know you need to burn 1,500 calories over the week through cardio and that you can devote 5 days per week to doing so.

Strength training is a form of cardio, but it's anaerobic. Oxygen demand is still increased but mainly from the muscles instead of the lungs. This type of cardio burns off more calories while promoting muscle development. It is typically done in short intervals. Circuit strength training workouts, for example, typically consist of stations that last for one to two minutes. Science has already proven that this is by far superior to aerobic cardio for loss of fat and weight. But there is a catch.

In fact, weight loss workout plan is about finding what will be right solution for you. For most of the people, what works is a cardio exercise weight loss program and indeed, it is the best fast loss workout plan. A cardio weight loss workout plan is only one part of weight loss. You also need to check your eating habits. Keep in mind that losing weight is not as easy as it sounds. It takes your commitment.

As much as we'd love to claim we've reinvented the wheel here, this intensity principle is nothing new in the fitness world. Even as far back as 1994 in the Metabolism Journal researchers discovered the following: each calorie you expend during high-intensity exercise burns 9 times more fat than the same calorie expended during steady state aerobic exercise! Don't believe this? Well, trust us when we say that you definitely will become a believer in intensity after performing your first interval workout.
